Planning a private yacht charter in Phuket should feel easy from the very beginning.
Linda is a private 49 ft Bavaria sailing yacht, reserved entirely for you and your group. There are no shared bookings and no fixed tour script. Depending on how much time you have, your journey can be anything from a few relaxed hours around Phuket to a sunset cruise, a full day among the islands or several nights exploring the Andaman Sea.
Routes are shaped around your preferences, but also around the weather, sea conditions and what makes sense on the day. That flexibility is part of sailing — and often part of what makes each trip different.
Below you’ll find answers to the questions guests most often ask us about the yacht, routes, group size, food, weather and life aboard Linda.

01. Your Sailing Experience
Linda is exclusively yours. Every charter is private, with the yacht, skipper and crew dedicated to you and your group. No strangers, no shared tours — just your own sailing experience.
From relaxing sunset cruises and half-day escapes to full-day adventures and multi-day journeys around the Andaman Sea. Tell us how much time you have, and we’ll help you find the perfect experience.
Absolutely! Your itinerary is planned around your preferences, available time and weather conditions. Destinations may include Coral Island, Racha Yai, Phi Phi, Krabi, Koh Yao and Phang Nga Bay, depending on your charter. The skipper makes the final route decisions for safety.
Our published prices are designed for groups of up to 6 guests. Larger groups may be accommodated depending on the type of charter and permitted yacht capacity. We’ll confirm the available options and any additional charges in your personal quotation.
Most of our trips depart from Chalong, Phuket. Your exact meeting point, boarding time and instructions will be confirmed before departure. Private transfers can also be arranged upon request.
02. Bookings & Payments
Simply complete our Plan Your Sail form and tell us what you’re looking for. We’ll prepare a personalised quotation. Your booking is confirmed once the required payment is received and we send written confirmation.
Yes. Our standard deposit is 30% of the total charter price. The remaining balance is due at least 7 calendar days before a sunset, half-day or full-day charter, or 30 calendar days before an overnight or multi-day charter, unless your quotation states otherwise. Bookings made closer to departure require full payment.
We can provisionally hold your preferred date for 3 calendar days after sending your quotation, unless otherwise specified. After that, the date may become available to other guests if the booking hasn’t been confirmed.
We understand that plans can change. Date changes are subject to availability and written confirmation. Cancellation charges depend on the type of charter and how much notice you give us. Please review our Terms & Conditions for full details.
Your safety always comes first. Our skipper may adjust the route or activities when necessary. If unsafe conditions prevent departure, we’ll offer an alternative date. If no acceptable alternative is available, you may request a refund for the cancelled charter in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
03. Life on Board
Unless your quotation states otherwise, your charter includes exclusive use of Linda, a professional skipper and crew, fuel for the agreed route, drinking water, soft drinks, tea, coffee, fresh fruit, light snacks, towels and standard snorkelling and safety equipment. Additional services and special arrangements will be detailed in your quotation.
Of course! From simple refreshments to special meals, celebrations and premium catering, we’ll help you arrange something that suits your experience. Please let us know about any dietary preferences or allergies in advance. Additional charges may apply.
Yes! Linda offers overnight and multi-day sailing experiences, allowing you to explore more of the Andaman Sea at a relaxed pace. Sleeping arrangements, meals and the itinerary are agreed with you before booking.
Absolutely! Families are welcome aboard Linda. Please share the children’s ages when planning your trip so we can recommend a suitable experience. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult, and our crew will provide the necessary safety guidance.
Yes! Swimming and snorkelling are among the highlights of sailing around Phuket. Activities depend on the weather, location and safety conditions, with final approval from the skipper. Standard snorkelling equipment is available on board.
Keep it simple! Bring swimwear, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, comfortable clothing and any personal medication you may need. Towels, drinking water and standard snorkelling equipment are already provided. Just bring your sense of adventure!
